Hello, we are well aware that the servers have lag spikes. Although we have no power to change that at the current point. We are troubleshooting the problems with our provider. This isn't generally a problem of the Zombie Server, this is a general problem with all servers. more players = more traffic = more timeouts Be sure that our engineers are now working 24/7 to resolve this problem. I will inform you as soon as we are making progress or you might find out yourself. Due to our High Security standards even good packets might be filtered for security reasons, which might cause this lag. We are working with pressure on resolving these problems. I would like to thank those who have supported ZombiesonWeed.com with admin payments or whom who have supported getting players into our Servers. We have reached one big milestone towards our goal! But be aware that its not over yet, please keep inviting players to our Steam Community Group and please get your friends and the friends of your friends to play in the server to repopulate the servers. Reaching the population we had before takes time and effort and I think we can reach this goal within 2-3 months.

You also might have noticed the lag spikes that have been bothering, they come randomly and they disappear after 2-3 spikes. Since we have alot of donators and supports, Im proud to announce that we will move onto a new machine located in Dallas, Texas. Counter Strike 1.6 box specs:

[EVENT] Just Dance!

This new Event is just to be an fun event for everyone. Im going to open a special server where we can just dance. I need 31 people and Im going to be the camera man. We are going to do some fun stuff, later on someone will edit the video and add some music. The special GFX etc will be within the server at the time when we are recording. Time and Dates will be posted, be sure that this is for fun only. Anyone that wants to participe go right ahead and sign up. New Deathrun IP: deathrun.zombiesonweed.com New Knife IP: knife.zombiesonweed.com This server will stay permanent, there may be a few bugs but they will get sorted out along the way. Edit We are currently reviewing the Agent applications. All applications have been moved to an internal section. You will get an PM if you have been choosen or not within that pm we will tell you why. If you havent been chosen, you may reapply again and write another application. We will announce who we have chosen here in a few days.

Firefox ftw!

Firefox 3.5 released the released candidate! I would recommend everyone to use firefox, you can download it at http://mozilla.org . The new Firefox 3.5 supports HTML5 which will be implemented within this site soon. So unless you dont want to see half of the forum you better get browsers that support HTML5(Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome). We will be hosting stuff that is only viewable with HTML5 capable browsers. By the way what do you think about the new logo of firefox?

Im not sure if you guys have seen the new Google Wave presentation. Google Wave is an interactive all-in one tool for social networks, forums and much more. If you have not gotten the chance to watch the amazing presentation of this new google widget, please do so now. Im already waiting for the API so that I can integrate this into this forum.
